What is IDX?

IDX stands for Internet Data Exchange. What this means is that an MLS (multiple listing service) board, allows access to available listings. An internet program is created allowing for the listings in one areas board to have those listings loaded to an external site. Once the site has "exchanged" the data, the internet IDX program allows an IDX host to process that information onto your personal website. The only contact information shown on your website for ANY realtors listing is YOU! This allows you to be the main source of contact for your real estate clients.

How do I communicate what design style I would like?

Our design process is very simple. You tell us your favorite colors, favorite style of website, etc.. and we will start work on your custom website. Once we have started designing, your site will be posted on your web domain, (www.yournamehere.com) and we will work via email correspondance to edit your site. If you want something changed then YOU tell us what you would like, and we make that happen!

 

Once my site is set up, how can I edit information on my web pages?

When we develop your site, we use a program that lets you log in and change information. The editing program will allow you to log in to your site, view the pages that are listed, and upload photos, change text and update links. You do not need any special software to change this information as it is done through your regular web browser. We hide a link on your site that you can click on and log into the "editing" mode. From this point you can update anything you wish and even save new pages for your visitors to view.
